We’re looking for a videographer who is comfortable working outside the studio — in a batik workshop, under a joglo roof, at the edge of a field. This work isn’t about perfect images; it’s about honest ones. Hands in motion, faces concentrating, the sound of tools doing their job.
What you’ll do
Join the team on location for 2–4 weeks. Primary shooting is usually 4–6 hours a day — the rest is logging footage, caring for equipment, and discussing visual direction with the director.
We don’t have a rigid style guide. We have a principle: natural light first, movement follows the subject not the other way around, and no shot matters more than the subject’s trust.
Compensation
Paid per project. The amount depends on duration and location — we’ll discuss before the contract is signed. Transport and accommodation covered by production.
How to apply
Send your portfolio (a link, not an attachment) and two paragraphs about a documentary project you’ve worked on to [email protected] with the subject line: Field Videographer.
